Works great! January 1, 2010 Bion T. Rogers 5 out of 5 found this review helpful
Typical beam torque wrench. Well made, Great quality. No issues at all. Like previous purchaser, the indicator was a little off. But, as with all the beam wrenches I have used for the past 35 years, I just bent the indicator rod a little to bring it to zero. That is the way they are used. They never need to be calibrated other than that. Learn how to use your tools.
Great deal on precision tool June 12, 2009 R. Sube (Pennsylvania) 3 out of 4 found this review helpful
I bought this as a gift for my husband. He needed a fine instrument to set up the rear differential in the vehicles that he fixes. It was perfect and it worked perfect. Great deal and best of all...it was made in the USA!!!
Good for the price July 8, 2009 Wayne Paterson (Teaneck, NJ United States) The nice thing about beam wrenches is they generally do not have to be calibrated frequently. This one seems to be made pretty well despite the low price, and it's easy enough to use.
KD Beam Type Torgue Wrench February 27, 2010 S. Hamlin (Iowa USA) Seems to be a good USA made tool. Have used it a few times and am very satisfied with it and the price. Good value substitute for the expensive click type wrenches for the do it your selfer.
Great Tool - Fast Delivery July 13, 2010 Tunedport350 Another one being used to set pinion bearing preload... works great. I calibrated at work (using NIST traceable masters) and it was right on, as expected. After all beam deflection is very predictable.
