Good buy for the price April 10, 2007 Josef Mcdaniel (Scottsdale, AZ) 13 out of 13 found this review helpful
Its not a Snap-on, but thats why its such a great value. I bought the 1/4 and 3/8" drive torque wrenches to add to my 1/2" to cover the full range when working on my car. Tested the settings with a name brand wrench and they were as close as I could imagine.
20"-200" torque wrench June 13, 2009 Richard F. Gray Jr. (milner, ga usa) 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
great product at a great price only flaw is hard to read numbers to adjust torque needs better readabilty.
Good tool, good price. Great for the amateur motorcycle mechanic. October 12, 2009 Smaug (Round Lake Beach, IL United States) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I was not expecting it to be this nice from previous reviews. Maybe it is because I haven't seen the Snap-On version. But I have one of the dual bar Craftsman ones, which cost more money, and is not nearly as nice. These click-type torque wrenches are much, much easier to use, and there is no fiddling around with the weird hinged handle to make sure we get the right amount of torque. The instruction sheet is very useful, but very thin. Take care to keep it for future reference. The molded case is very nice too, and will protect the wrench from all kinds of knocks. (this is another thing the Craftsman ones don't include)
I like this wrench so much, I'm thinking of buying the 3/8" drive version to replace my old-school Crapsman.
Great, good price September 12, 2009 J. Lopez (Ruston, L.A.) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
We were in need of a cost-efficient tool of this sort in our laboratory, and this fit the bill exactly. We got a good delivery time on this, and are happy with our purchase.
Works...no complaints so Far October 5, 2009 Jamus (USA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Used this to torque wrench to tighten my transmission drain bolt and my spark plugs. Works fine but wish it went to at least 100Ft-Lbs.
If the torqure wrench has not been used in a while, it is recommened to use it in the lower torque setting a few times prior to using it on a bolt that will need to be torque in higher settings.
