Customer Reviews: Awesome Torque Wrench March 31, 2009 Ryan M. Geist (Texas, USA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Easily adjustable. Affordable. Durable.
The handle, lever, and adjustment sleeve all seem very durable. I've been using this particular wrench for almost an a year now and it hasn't given me any problems.
The thing that attracted me to this torque wrench was the fact that it offers a very good range of Inch-Lbs (I needed something that started at 40 Inch-Lbs and went up from there while most models I looked at started at 80 + Inch-Lbs).

This inch-pound torque wrench is a very good value for the money and budget conscious mechanic. While not on the same level as the more expensive tools, it gets the job done just the same. The dual direction ratcheting head is a nice feature. In addition, the micrometer adjustment is nicely done and easy to use. One simply pulls down the locking ring, adjusts to the torque value desired, and then pushes up the locking ring to secure the torque setting. The micrometer adjustment feels a bit rough, but is functional. The overall fit and finish of the tool is above average. The "click" when the torque setting is reached is audible and easily felt through the well designed grip.
Great Value! August 24, 2007 M. Douglas (Port Orchard, WA USA) 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
I ordered this after returning a very nice 3/8" torque wrench I bought locally. I needed something to work on motorcycles, and the 3/8" was too big. This 1/4" wrench is well put together, and an exceptional value.
Nice addition to my toolbox April 11, 2009 drifter yank (Richmond, VA USA) This is a good wrench and a good value. It seems accurate based on checking it against another wrench. It gives a definite click and release when the selected torque level is reached. Much better than my old 3/8" Chinese wrench that I threw away--no comparison. Primary torque level numbers are cast into the silver shaft. Silver-on-silver is not the easiest to read in poor light. Overall, this is a satisfying addition to my toolbox.
